Magnuszewska Appointed Chief Information Officer at NICB

The National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB) has appointed Marta Magnuszewska as senior vice president and chief information and technology officer, effective July 20.

In the role, Magnuszewska will oversee the organization’s technology strategy and enterprise architecture, information technology operations, data science initiatives, data governance, product development and artificial intelligence strategy.

Before joining NICB, Magnuszewska served as vice president of claims transformation, data analytics and AI at Markel Insurance Corp. She previously held leadership positions at The Hartford, John Bean Technologies and Allstate Insurance, where her work focused on data analytics, claims transformation and operational improvement.

Magnuszewska earned a bachelor’s degree in commerce and finance from DePaul University and a master’s degree in leadership and communication from Northwestern University. She has also completed executive and professional programs in artificial intelligence, leadership and data science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the Wisconsin School of Business, Johns Hopkins University and Lake Forest School of Management.
