Health technology company mPulse has appointed Brian Higgins as chief architect, bringing the experienced healthcare technology leader on board to help guide the development of the company’s artificial intelligence and data platforms.
In his new role, Higgins will oversee the design and long-term evolution of mPulse’s Health Experience and Insights (HXI) platform. His responsibilities include leading the platform’s data architecture and advancing the artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities that power healthcare engagement and analytics tools.
The appointment places Higgins at the center of the company’s strategy to expand its AI-driven technology platform, which helps health plans and healthcare organizations improve patient engagement and outcomes through predictive analytics and digital communications.
Background in Healthcare Technology Architecture
Higgins brings extensive experience in healthcare software architecture and enterprise technology systems. Before joining mPulse, he served as chief architect at Clarity Software Solutions, a company focused on digital engagement platforms for healthcare organizations that was recently acquired by mPulse.
During his time at Clarity, Higgins helped design and scale the company’s core technology platforms and data infrastructure. These systems enabled healthcare organizations to better manage patient communications and digital engagement strategies.
Earlier in his career, Higgins held several senior technology leadership roles at Aetna, where he worked on developing large-scale health technology applications and enterprise platforms used by insurers and healthcare providers.
These positions gave Higgins experience building complex healthcare systems that must operate within strict regulatory environments while managing large volumes of sensitive health data.
Leading Architecture for AI-Powered Healthcare Platforms
As chief architect at mPulse, Higgins will lead the technical architecture behind the company’s HXI platform, which is designed to help healthcare organizations analyze data, engage patients, and deliver more personalized care experiences.
