I'm a big fan of podcasting. I run a video podcast for the work I do at SciVestor. I also load up my iPod with some great podcasts and videocasts that I would like to share with you. If you are new to podcasting, you should be able to click on any of the links below, and select an application on your computer to listen to the podcast on. I'd recommend downloading iTunes from Apple (even if you're a PC and not a Mac), and use iTunes to manage your podcasts.
Here are some of my favorites:
Larry Lessig: a podcast for Stanford Law Professor Larry Lessig. Lessig is the creator of the Creative Commons movement, and is now focused on an ambitious new initiative called Change Congress. You can subscribe to Lessig's Video Blog here.
Gartner Voice: a podcast where Gartner analysts share their insight on business and IT. You can subscribe to Gartner Voice here.
Also, as a bonus, I'd recommend you follow this link to hear Betsy Burton from Gartner discuss ways to make an impact with EA, especially during tough times.
SciVestor Insight: my video podcast on emerging technologies that are going to change the world. You can subscribe to SciVestor Insight here.
Harvard Business IdeaCast: a podcast featuring breakthrough ideas and commentary from leading thinkers in business and management. You can subscribe to IdeaCast here.
Car Talk: America's funniest auto mechanics take calls from weary car owners all over the country, and crack wise while they diagnose Dodges and dismiss Diahatsus. You can subscribe to Car Talk here.
How Stuff Works: My friend Marshall Brain runs the site How Stuff Works. This podcast is an entertaining lesson in - well - how stuff really works. You can subscribe to Marshall's podcast here.
Do you have some favorite podcasts to share with the readers of A&G. I'd love to hear about them. Post a comment to this posting.
