Readership Survey
Serves as leading indicator of most important IT and
business challenges
Architecture & Governance Magazine, a leading journal for
IT executives, strategists, and enterprise architects, today
announced its third annual subscriber survey. The objective
of the annual polling is to determine the issues and trends
confronting organizations addressing IT or business
transformations, and how they use enterprise architecture
and strategic IT planning software to keep pace with
business change.
The survey questions will be available beginning June 4th
-

days. Results are expected to be announced in an August
Architecture & Governance webinar, and will be published in
the Fall edition of the publication.
The first 25 respondents will receive the newly published
“I/T Architecture in Action” by Richard J. Reese, vice
president of Enterprise Architecture at Discover Financial.
A recent reader posted the following review of the book
on Amazon.com: “This is a "must read" book that provides a
wonderful insight on how to position and apply Architecture
within to a corporate IT enterprise. Rick uses his practical
experiences to clearly articulate the important role
architecture plays, how to establish guiding principles,
govern, and develop/utilize an architectural framework to
help you improve your overall business. This book is a must
read for all CIOs, business I/T professionals and IT
architects.”
“Over the last two surveys, we’ve seen a growing adoption
of strategic IT planning as a driver for business success
across our readership,” said Jonas Lamis, founder and
executive editor of Architecture & Governance. “This year,
our goal is to understand the impact of SOA projects and IT
transformation initiatives on this trend.”
